Post-holiday wrap up & Lillian is 11 months old!

It seems that I was right - that there were more photos that I couldn't find from Christmas!  So here are a few more photos to enjoy.  In the photo above you can see how well Audrey's writing is progressing - she made these signs for herself and Uncle Dave.

Here is my attempt to get a Christmas card photo - not a single one where they both were looking at the camera and smiling :)

Our pizza dinner last week turned into a tutu event:

Little Ingrid eventually tired of her tutu and decided to relax a little:
I just can't get over the fact that Lillian is 11 months old - and is now almost one!  It's amazing how fast the time has gone.

We are really excited to have two guests this weekend!  Baba and Aunt Mo(mica)!!  Aunt Mo is just staying for the long weekend - yay!  But Baba will be staying with us for 10 days.  It should be lots of fun!

Here's a video for those of you who aren't on Facebook:

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season! Somehow I don't have as many Christmas photos as I expected.  We had a really nice time and were glad that Uncle Dave was able to spend the week with us.

Lillian got her top tooth and said her first word at Christmas - she now says "uh oh" and says it a lot!

Audrey thoroughly enjoyed Christmas and proclaimed "it's just what I wanted!" for almost every gift she opened.

Here is Audrey getting her gift from Lillian on Christmas Eve.  As you might guess, Lillian doesn't know how to wrap gifts yet, so she opted to hide it under a baby doll.

Lillian was interested in Christmas, but definitely didn't really get what was going on this year!

We had a little dusting of snow for Christmas, but then a few days later we got enough for Audrey to have her first real experience playing in the snow.

Here's a little video inspired by our multiple viewings of A Christmas Story:

For New Years Eve we went to the family fireworks downtown at 6 p.m., which was perfect for us since we were all in bed well before midnight.

We are now getting back into our routine, but we are looking forward to more visitors - Baba is coming back to celebrate her birthday with us and Aunt Mo is coming as well!  We can't wait.
